Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators (T.E.N.S) generate electrical impulses that are sent through the electrodes that can be strategically placed over nerve centres.

Pain signals to the brain are blocked by the T.E.N.S. interrupting the brains awareness of pain. Stimulation of the nerve centres may activate endorphins which are used by the body to suppress pain naturally.
The Home T.E.N.S Electronic Pain Reliever comes with 4 massage pads which can be attached to the relevent painful area. A typical massage session last approximately 15 minutes.

Using the Electronic Pain Reliever means you no longer have to endure constant or chronic pain. The Electronic Pain Reliever is non-addictive, drug free and has no side effects.
The Home T.E.N.S Electronic Pain Reliever is excellent at relieving pain in the shoulders, back and waist and other parts of the body.
The massager has a soothing anaesthetic effect and reduces fatigue.
Another useful effect of the home massager is that is helps restore the flexibility of the skin, improving blood circulation and nourishing the skin.
The massager exercises tired muscles and reduces muscle pain.

The Home T.E.N.S, unlike most of its competitors, is a registered medical device in Europe and the United States. It has FDA, (Food & Drug Administration), approval in the United States and MDD, (Medical Devices Directive), approval in the U.K and Europe.
How Does T.E.N.S work?
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators (T.E.N.S) generate electrical impulses that are sent through the electrodes which can be strategically placed over nerve centres. Pain signals to the brain are blocked by the T.E.N.S. interrupting the brains awareness of pain. Stimulation of the nerve centres may activate endorphins which are used by the body to suppress pain naturally. This T.E.N.S therapy can relieve chronic or acute pain such as back pain, sciatica, sports strains & sprains, muscle injuries and aching joints.
Dual Channel T.E.N.S
The Home Masseur is a dual channel TENS device and should not be mistaken for a single channel device. With a dual channel device you can use 4 electrodes simultaneously, instead of just 2 electrodes as with the single channel devices. This enables you to give pain relief to a much wider area of the body and is ideal for use on the back, shoulders, arms and legs.
Massage Modes
There are three massage modes which are rubbing, tapping and kneading, these modes are sometimes referred to as burst, normal and modulation. The 3 massage modes can be experienced as part of the automatic programs, or can be controlled manually by selecting the mode and then adjusting the strength as desired.
Automatic Programs
The four automatic programs use a combination of the 3 modes, (rubbing, tapping & kneading), at varying strengths, and are designed to target specific areas of your body: Shoulders, Waist/Back, Joints, Hands/Feet.

Here are some of the symptoms the Home Massager works on:
Electrodes are placed on or near the area of pain. Soothing pulses are sent via the electrodes through the skin and along the nerve fibers. The pulses (controlled by the user at all times) suppress pain signals to the brain. TENS also encourages the body to produce higher levels of its own natural pain killing chemicals called Endorphins and Encephalin.
Stone carvings from the Egyptian Fith Dynasty in 2500 BC depict an electric fish being used to treat pain. Present day TENS began after the landmark paper by Melzack and Wall 1965, entitled "Pain Mechanism: A New Theory." An enormous amount of scientific research followed, resulting in the therapy used today.
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a highly effective treatment for pain. It is used worldwide and recommended by sports coaches, physiotherapy departments, pain clinics, doctors and other medical practitioners. A TENS unit will ease pain, and should result in a decrease of drug intake! For many the relief is dramatic.
For years our therapy has been used worldwide in both hospitals and the home. In some cases pain relief will continue (perhaps for several hours) after the unit has been switched off.
For many people, relief is so dramatic that using TENS has changed their lives.
Contraindications:TENS units must not be used by patients using a demand type pacemaker. Electrodes should NOT be placed at the front or side of the neck. Units should NOT be used when driving or operating machinery.
