It works, joint ache and muscle pain is relieved.

The heat is soothing & I am sure it does help my arthritis. The manual timer is not accurate. A digital type would be preferable.

Dear Sir, as I advised your man when I purchased the 2 lamps I was not 'new' to them, and in fact I purchased 4 of the original lamps in Sydney many years ago; except in those days we called them 'TDP' units (a therapeutic device with portioned electromagnetic spectrum). I have used them over many years for skin ailments, soft and hard tissue lesions, surgical wounds etc etc etc and even for facial palsy (combined with medical management of steroids etc). just excellent. Used it initially because my back was beginning to exhibit symptoms which had put me on sticks about a year previously. within days[ 4 to be exact] it had eased totally. Since then, whenever I creak a bit, I go and lie under....[and how blissful at bedtime; afterwards it's so easy just to drift away.] Having persuaded my wife to give it a go, she is also a convert; after aday in the garden, a long hot bath, a session under the lamp....gorgeous, just simply gorgeous. And so.... importantly....from 2 people just into their sixties who are beginning to creak a a bit, what this lamp does is take away so much of that fear of over -exertion. It helps so much to ease away simple everyday pains, and thus increases your confidence to go ahead and do a bit more.
